Okay you need to chill dude! The people on here are all volunteers. Give them a break! I've seen copyrighted stuff get pulled off of this site before. It may not get taken off right away, but it always gets taken off.

Dear Sir, I fear you miss the point ,it's all very good to say copyrights are deleted, how do they get posted in the first place?. this is a great site with people who care about what is posted. There are lots of sites that host copyright movies, but this not one.

But you have to admit that it IS pretty strange that they show up here without move requests. I'm not going to say a staffer is doing it, the uploading, I mean, but maybe they have some new guy who searches CV for this stuff and moves it here. But all the Beatles movies should have been pretty obvious.

Had a look at many of the obviously copyright things and they seem to be being uploaded by a number of different users. They are being moved to the Feature Films collections by a user who does not have an Archive email address (atarukun44).

Why the need for a request? That's how it's been in the past, all of my uploads have been moved without my posting in the forums.

The same story with some of my files when I first started uploading. A lot of my files were moved without putting in a request but some got missed. It's not totally consistant so I wouldn't count on having files moved without posting a request.

It sounds like they've started doing their job again. Maybe they should be more careful about what passes, but I'm glad to hear that.

Actually no I did not miss the point. This site hosts material
that isn't copyrighted? Duh! I knew full well before I ever
downloaded any movies from this site that they were public domain. What I'm trying to say is that I've seen copyrighted
material get pulled from this site, but not always right away.I also knew if anything copyrighted got put on this site it would come down. I agree it's strange so many copyrighted movies are getting uploaded to this site, but those movies have been getting pulled. While they haven't been getting pulled right away, they do get taken down. That's why I told that person to chill and to give the staff a break. That same person needs to keep in mind that
the staff here are volunteers. So again give them a break.
They always will remove copyrighted material.

I know you've probably got the point, but I'm going to chime in too. The volunteers here really DON'T want the site to get sued into oblivion, which they know could happen if they willingly allowed copyrighted stuff to be posted. But like any volunteers, they're stretched like a Spanish heretic on a rack, and they can only catch so much material so quickly. So applaud the good they do and have some patience with the stuff they miss. If you bring it to their attention, they'll get to it as soon as they can.

In the past this site has removed files even if the charge of Copyright is unsupported by documentation. I'm fairly sure a rogue staff member has not started a quest to post all the copies of Russian language Beatles movies available. Just give them a break and a donation.
